According to the TASS news agency, the Information Service of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense announced on the 28th that the Ministry plans to allocate about 544 million U.S. dollars from the budget in 2023 to purchase additional drones for the Ukrainian army.

Taking into account the needs and requirements of the Ukrainian Army, about 20 billion hryvnia (about $544 million) for the sector.”

        To implement this initiative, 16 state contracts have recently been concluded with Ukrainian drone manufacturers, and the procedure for the admission of drones into service has been simplified, the report noted.

        According to reports, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense announced on the 27th that it will form a UAV assault company in the military that will be equipped with "Starlink" satellite communication terminals.
